Women of Influence has greatly impacted my life in so many ways. When I look back at my life, I am so grateful because I have seen my life transform in a tremendous way. I have been a part of Women of Influence from inception when it was being established back in 1997. Before then, I knew so little of the word of God despite being born again, and I did not know how to read on my own. However; through Women of Influence, I now know how to read, and I can read the word of God on my own. Women of Influence has also helped grow my prayer life, because now I do not need encouragement to pray as I am able to seek God for myself. Now that I live a life of prayer and reading the word of God, God has given me the courage to reach out to others in my community and my family through His word. Over the years, I have seen most people that I have reached out to give their lives to Christ. Through Women of Influence, I have been able to establish a women’s ministry called ‘Women Arise’, which focuses on teaching the word of God, marriage counselling and it also offers support and counselling to abused children in various communities. All this has been made possible because of the teachings and trainings I have received through Women of Influence. I would like to sincerely thank mum Prophetess Elfridah Faith, who has been my mentor and helped push me to become strong in the Lord and be able to influence my generation. I also thank God almighty for His grace and mercies over my life; I give him all the glory.

I want to thank God for the impact women of influence has had in my life. Prior to joining the ministry, I had no purpose or direction. I was also hopeless having tested HIV Positive. However, through the teaching of the word of God, I have experienced a total turn around. God has sustained my health, and I have discovered my purpose. Through the excellent grooming and training I received, we are now running a ministry with my husband all to the glory of God. I have also become an example and an inspiration to other women. I am therefore eternally grateful to my mother and mentor prophetess Elfridah Faith, for her investment and the impact of her ministry in my life, through women of influence. To God be the Glory!

My name is Precious Ngoma, and I am one of the beneficiaries of Women of Influence. I grew up as a double orphan in a less privileged family, and I faced a lot of financial and academic challenges; as a result I ended up dropping out of school. It was at this time when my lifelong dream of becoming educated was shattered. Thank fully, by Gods divine mercy, Women of Influence came to my help, and that is how my dream of being educated became a reality. For the calling and passion Women of Influence has to help the orphans, needy and less privileged in society. I was honoured and grateful for their sponsorship I received from them to educate me until I completed my high school education and for their continuing support, I came to realise the value of education. Through Women of Influence, I managed to complete my high school education. They have really helped me through my whole education journey, and they have really played a key role in achieving my educational dreams. Through Women of Influence, I currently got job, and I am now independent. I thank Women of Influence for their generosity support and care for my education, children such as me would be unable to pursue education and realise their dreams. Because of Women of Influence, my dreams became a reality.

My name is Henry Chandalala born 30th October 1992; I am the last born child in a family of four. I lost my father at the age of three years; my mother took upon the responsibility of raising me and my siblings’ singlehandedly. This was quite challenging on her part, since she was not in any formal employment. In 2007, I received a scholarship from Achievers Christian Academy which is under Women of Influence founded by Prophetess Elfridah Faith. I was privileged to be among the orphans picked for education scholarship. This scholarship really changed my life, it came at the right time in my life when I had no hope that I would still go back to school because my mother at the moment could not afford to enrol me in school because of the financial challenges she was going through. My scholarship started when I was in my 10th grade through to grade 12, I completed my 12th grade in 2009, and thereafter, I enrolled at Chreso University to do my A Levels. In 2011 I was in school, and God blessed me with a job in the hospitality industry. In 2018, God blessed me with a new job in a five star hotel at a managerial position, in that same year, I got married and I was blessed with a son. I thank God for all the blessings, because if it was not for Women of Influence, I wouldn’t have seen the light out of the tunnel. The scholarship really changed my life, because my life had no meaning after staying out of school for one year before enrolment to grade 10.

The existence of Women of influence was for a purpose in my life. I am a third born in a family of six, I started my first grade in 1991, and in 1997 when the country experienced a coup from captain Solo, I wrote my seventh grade exam. In 1998, whilst in the second term of the eighth grade, my father died. After qualifying to the tenth grade, I fell pregnant and my mother refused to pay for my education. My mother decided that I abort the pregnancy, but refused to go ahead with the abortion, this created strife between my mother and I. so I ended up giving birth to a girl child, and mother decided to take me to the man who impregnated me. I ended up having three kids with the man. Later on, I heard of a group that supports children’s education. So I decided to register myself, and was given an opportunity to complete my education until I completed my 12th grade. I later applied at Chalimbana University where I studied social work. I thank God for mum Prophetess Elfridah Faith and Women of Influence to giving meaning to my life by granting me the opportunity to go back to school which transformed my life.
